Convex, Garuda Indonesia and The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Republic of Indonesia, I
would like to personally thank to the exhibitors and visitors who
participated in the GARUDA INDONESIA INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC EXPO 2012 - The 7th Umrah-Hajj & Islamic Tourism Jakarta, we have laid the foundation for a
new dialogue and philosophy for Umra–Hajj, Hotel industry and Islamic
Tourism in the 21st Century.
This year has been good to us and as we move into the new era, Islamic
tourism is now a key sector of the Middle East, Central Asia and Far East
economies in particular to Umra & Hajj and “The International Islamic Expo”
has grown in partnership with the Travel associations, Hoteliers and public
from regional countries.
Indonesia has been one of the world’s best performing in tourism and some of
the new innovative projects announced in recent times in the Middle East are
launched in this event. Against this background, it is events such as
The International Islamic Expo that will provide the necessary impetus
for the industry to move forward.
The International Islamic Expo, is the world largest and primer
Islamic travel & tourism event providing three days of intensive meetings,
seminars, press conferences and social networking opportunities.
Now in its 8th year, "The International Islamic Expo" is a key arena
in which to unlock your business potential as the event is firmly
established as must-attend exhibition for travel professionals in particular
to Hajj & Umra, Hotel industry, Islamic Tourism and trade & Investment.
With the seven years of consecutive success in Islamic tourism, it is my
pleasure to announce and invite you to participate in the forthcoming annual

December, 2012 at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta - Indonesia.

Indonesia as the biggest source for Umra-Hajj and Islamic Tourism. The choice of Indonesia as the venue for The INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC EXPO 2012
denotes the importance of Indonesia as the Largest Muslim Populous Country
in the world for Umra-Hajj as well as for Islamic Tourism generating
country.

from ASEAN Countries ; PATA, AMPHURI (Indonesia), HIMPUH (Indonesia), ASPHURINDO (Indonesia), ASITA
(Indonesia), BUMITRA (Malaysia), AMTAS (Singapore), DHSB (Brunei), ASTINDO (Indonesia), BATA
(Brunei) and fully supported by The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Republic of Indonesia.
On a final note, I am confident The International Islamic Expo 2012 – The 8th Umra-Hajj & Islamic Tourism edition
of the event will result in excellent business for the regional as well as
international sectors.
